Social Calendar

We have a regular programme of organised social activities for our students.

We offer a varied programme of social activities and excursions. These include visits to local musuems and art galleries as well as 'ceilidh' evenings where you can learn Scottish country dancing which is great fun and very energetic! We also take our students to see other scenic places in Scotland and also organise games and nights and ten-pin bowling.

We encourage students to suggest trips that interest them and in the past we have visited the Scottish Highlands, Loch Lomond,Stirling and Edinburgh.

In addition if you wish to organise your own activity or excursion we are very happy to help with advice and assistance, even if you want to go and find the Loch Ness Monster!

We have a full progamme of activities planned for March 2019 which include:

  • New Lanark
  • Tall Ship & Riverside Museum
  • Glengoyne Distillery
  • Kelvingrove Park and Museum
  • Stirling Castle & Museum
  • Largs and Cumbrae Island
  • Glasgow University, Huntarian Museum & Mackintosh House
  • Edinburgh

Details of all of these trips including approximate costs are shown at the following link:

They teach you in a good way and make the lessons fun, not boring.  The people at Reception are really nice too and the classrooms and facilities are all quite new.
