C. Pay the Appropriate Course Fee Deposit

You must pay a £190 deposit. If your total course fee is less than £190, you must pay the full course fee.

D. Pay the appropriate Accommodation Deposit (if accomodation required):

If you require accommodation to be provided through Glasgow School of English, you must:

1. Pay the accommodation deposit of £220 for homestay accommodation or £350 for student accommodation.

2. Pay the accommodation booking fee of £50. This fee is non-refundable.

If you book a full-time course (15 hours per week or more) lasting 12 or more weeks, we will not charge the accommodation booking fee of £50.

E. Confirmation Process

1. If your requested course and accommodation are available, the school will send you a Confirmation of Booking showing the course details, the amount you have paid and the remaining balance (if any).

2. If your requested course or accommodation is not available, we will suggest new dates for your course and/or accommodation.

3. Students who are funded by an overseas government must follow all the steps above. We require a financial guarantee letter from your sponsor addressed to the school. You must pay the course fees yourself until we receive this letter.

4. After we receive this letter, we will return all the fees you have paid that are covered by the financial guarantee letter – this usually excludes accommodation, airport transfer and teaching materials.

5. Pre-arrival information including a map and school rules will be emailed to you at this stage. Please read this information carefully before your first day at school.

They teach you in a good way and make the lessons fun, not boring.  The people at Reception are really nice too and the classrooms and facilities are all quite new.
