Glasgow School of English began operations in 1997 - nearly 30 years ago! In that time, we have welcomed thousands of students from all over the world, helping them reach their goals and realise their dreams. Outside the classroom, our students have experienced Glaswegian and Scottish culture firsthand through a rich and varied social and cultural programme – key components of our language learning experience.
We would like to say a massive THANK YOU! to every student who chose to study with us. Through your feedback, we know that your time here was overwhelmingly positive and, in many cases, life-changing. We have loved meeting you all and it has been a real joy to learn about your cultures and hear your stories.
Importantly, we want to recognise the valued contribution of our teaching, administration, and management staff. We very much appreciate all their hard work and professionalism. We have always prided ourselves on being a warm, welcoming school, and our valued team have always gone the extra mile to make that a reality.
A special mention must also go to our wonderful host families. They have been important partners, going above and beyond to provide not just first-class accommodation, but also a home away from home.
