The Application Process
- Complete the Online Application & Payment process. Make sure you read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Booking.
- Send a scan of your passport or EU ID card by email or fax to +44 141 332 8881.
- Complete our Online Placement Test. Visit LearningZone and read the instructions showing how to login to our placement test shown on the 'main menu' on the left.
- If you want to apply for a General Student Visa, you must also complete our Online Speaking Test. Read the instructions here.
- Pay the appropriate course deposit.
- If you require a General Student Visa, pay at least a £400 deposit and the £10 CAS fee.
- All other students pay at least a £150 deposit.
- If your course fee is less than the relevant deposit, pay the full fee.
- Pay the appropriate accommodation deposit if required.
- Pay the accommodation deposit of £150.
- Pay the accommodation booking fee of £35.
- If your accommodation fee is less than the deposit, pay the full fee.
- If you book a full time course of 12 or more weeks, the accommodation booking is FREE.
- Pay the airport transfer fee if required.
- £45 from Glasgow International one way; £90 return.
- £80 from Glasgow Prestwick one way; £160 return.
- £90 from Edinburgh International one way; £180 return.
- If you book a full time course of 12 or more weeks, the airport transfer is discounted £45.
- If you have a credit card, you can pay the deposit/fees at the end of the Online Application & Payment process which includes a secure payment section called Worldpay.
- If you do not have a credit card, please complete Online Application and arrange your payment by bank transfer. The bank details can be found on our Pre-Arrival Information page. Please email us after you have made the bank transfer.
- If your requested course and accommodation are available, the school will send you a Confirmation of Booking (including your CAS number if required) within 24 hours of receiving all the correct information and fees. We will also send a statement showing the amount you have paid and any remaining fees.
- If your requested course or accommodation is not available we will suggest new dates for your course and/or accommodation. If we cannot find a suitable alternative, the school will return any money you have paid.
- Students who are funded by an overseas government must follow all the steps above. We require a financial guarantee letter from your sponsor addressed to the school. You must pay the course fees yourself until we receive this letter. After we receive this letter we will return all the fees you have paid that are covered by the financial guarantee letter – this usually excludes accommodation, airport transfer and teaching materials.
