Entertainment, arts and culture for English language students in Glasgow

Glasgow School of English has a programme of weekly activities that we organise for our students.  Lots of students go to these events, which range from ten-pin bowling to learning Scottish dancing at a ‘ceilidh’.

Lots of our students make their own entertainment.  Click on these links to find out more about the city’s cinemas, art galleries, theatres, and nightclubs and bars

We know that lots of our students like to find nice places to go for a coffee or a meal.  There are links to some really nice, not expensive, cafes and restaurants here, but you can explore the city and find your own favourites.

Please note: we do not officially endorse any of the places on this page and are not responsible for the quality of the food and drink served.

I like the trips they organise for you and I think these help you meet new people, from different parts of the world.
