Young Learner Winter-Spring Programme
Enjoy the Scottish Highlands outside the peak season!
The YL Winter/Spring Programme is based in the mansion and grounds of Lendrick Muir in Perthshire in the heart of Scotland. The location is 1 hour from Edinburgh International and 2 hours from Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick airports. The course combines quality English language tuition, afternoon and evening activities both indoor and outdoor, full board accommodation, 24 hour supervision, trips to historic and cultural sights.
Course Dates
The course is offered from October to April every year. Contact the school directly for specific start dates and bookings outside this period. Minimum booking is 2 weeks; maximum booking is 4 weeks. One week is from Sunday to Sunday.
Requirements
The YL Programme is for groups only. Students must be a minimum age of 11 years old; maximum age 17 of years old. The minimum group size is 15 students. All groups must be accompanied by an English speaking adult Group Leader. One Group Leader is FREE for every 15 students.

Core Programme Content
- 15 hours English language tuition per week
- All teaching materials included
- Transportation to/from Edinburgh International, Glasgow International or Glasgow Prestwick airports
- Full-board dormitory accommodation in the mansion house (pictured above) with shared toilet and shower rooms
- FREE full-board accommodation for a Group Leader for every 15 students
- One full-day sightseeing every Saturday - enjoy the sights and culture of Edinburgh, Glasgow or St Andrews
- One afternoon sightseeing trip per week to local attractions
- Full programme of afternoon and evening activities - adventure golf, hiking, orienteering, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, pool, table tennis
- Completion certificate
- Additional full-day sightseeing trip on Sunday
- Additional afternoon sightseeing trips
- Other requirements as per needs of group
