TOEIC Test

The TOEIC Test (the Test of English for International Communication) is designed for students looking for an internationally recognised qualification for Business and Professional English for use in the UK or abroad. The TOEIC test was developed in 1979 to measure proficiency in business English, at intermediate to advanced levels. It is a standard measure of workplace English language proficiency world wide, and it is a valuable credential for professionals. The test is highly reliable; scores are always accurate and consistent.

Glasgow School of English became an Approved TOEIC test centre in 2007. We offer TOEIC preparation courses and tests. Further information about the test, including sample test questions, can be seen on the TOEIC website.

Booking a Test

The test must be booked at least one week in advance. The test is held on a Friday afternoon. Test registration is from 13:15 and the test starts 13:45 and finishes 15:45. Late participants are not allowed into the test room. See the Test Calendar below for dates.

Test Results

Our test price includes a Certificate and a Report detailing outlining language ability. The results arrive within one week of the test date. Certificates can be sent to any address you specify.
