This course prepares overseas English language teachers for the Cambridge Teacher Knowledge Test (TKT). It aims to develop the basic knowledge of language and teaching skills required to teach English as a foreign language. The course is designed as an introductory teacher development course for teachers with little or no experience of teaching English language.
The course totals 90 hours, including 2 weeks (45 hours) of face-to-face instruction.
Candidates will learn about key concepts and terms of English language teaching, current teaching theories and approaches, useful teaching and learning resources, and will be provided with teaching materials and activities that explore the concepts and approaches presented.
