Thamalee studied at Glasgow School of English for six months. She started off at intermediate level and quickly progressed to become an advanced level student, before being accepted to study for a degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. Thamalee said " In my time at the school, I took three international examinations and I received a score of 7.5 in my IELTS exam. I really enjoyed my time at the school, the teachers are excellent, very well organised and put you at ease. Glasgow School of English has given me the confidence that I need to progress and I would recommend the school to anyone who wants to study English".

Salima Tahri, Algerian

Prior to joining the school, Salima studied business studies in Algeria. Salima wanted to improve her English and origially intended to study for only a few weeks but she stayed for over one year. Salima progressed to Glasgow University to undertake a Masters in Marketing Management. When asked about her time at the school, Salima said "I have loved studying at Glasgow School of English. I have met lots of people and made lots of new friends, I even met my flat mates at the school. "I particularly enjoyed the school trips to The Scottish Parliament and Millport - that was a really fun day! I would recommend the school to anyone who wants to learn English, I have really enjoyed myself and made so many new friends."
