Glasgow School of English is the only independent school in the West of Scotland to be accredited by The British Council. The British Council is an independent body dedicated to promoting British culture and education throughout the world. Accreditation indicates that our administrative procedures, the school environment and, most importantly, the quality of our teaching meet with the exacting standards as required by The British Council, English in Britain accreditation scheme. As an accredited school, we are strongly committed to ensuring our quality standards are met and that each and every student enjoys their stay. Our reputation is founded on both the quality of our teaching and the personal care and attention that we provide to all of our students. To ensure that you enjoy a quality learning environment, we have a maximum class size of 16 students per class. This ensures that you receive personal attention from your teacher and maximises your contact learning time.
