Location of Scotland

Scotland forms the northern part of the United Kingdom, which also comprises England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is surrounded by sea on three sides: to the west and north by the Atlantic Ocean and on the east by the North Sea. Its only land border is with England, whose capital city, London is a one hour flight from Glasgow.

Scotland is a country blessed with a wealth of natural beauty. From spectacular mountain scenery to golden beaches and sparkling fresh water lochs, Scotland offers tremendous opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.
